Custom Literature Review Writing Service at Writers Per Hour

A literature review is a critical research synthesis. It brings together the scholarly sources on one question and shows what they found, where their results agree or conflict, and what the evidence still leaves open. It is not a list of annotations, and it is not an ordinary essay with a few citations added.

Our literature review writing service helps with every part of that work, from the first database search to the paragraph that states the research gap. At Writers Per Hour, a writer works from your research question, your rubric and the sources you must use, and the finished review arrives in your account as a model for your own work.

What a Literature Review Is, and What It Is Not

Two assignments are easy to confuse with a review of the literature. An annotated bibliography lists sources one by one, each with a short summary and an evaluation. An essay argues your own thesis and uses sources as evidence for it. A literature review organizes the sources by theme and makes an argument about the research itself: what is known, how well it is known and what is still missing.

If you are still collecting and judging sources, and your instructor wants notes on each one first, start with our annotated bibliography writing service. Those notes then become the raw material for the review.

A review built from summaries reads like an annotated bibliography with the entries run together, and that is a common reason instructors return one. Synthesis is what turns the same reading into a thematic review with a point of its own. The difference shows in four ways:

Summary vs. synthesis
SummarySynthesis
Describes one source at a time, in the order you read them.Takes one theme at a time and brings in every study that speaks to it.
Reports what each author found.Shows where the findings agree, where they conflict and why.
Treats every study as equally strong.Weighs each study by its method, its sample and its limitations.
Ends when the last source is covered.Ends with the evidence gap that your own question addresses.

Why a Literature Review Is Harder Than It Looks

Every review goes through the same four stages, whatever the subject. Most of the work happens before the first paragraph is written.

How a literature review comes together
  1. Search

    • Keywords from your question
    • Databases in your field
    • Reference lists of key studies
  2. Selection

    • Studies that answer the question
    • Key works before minor ones
    • Off-topic sources set aside
  3. Thematic grouping

    • Themes instead of authors
    • Methods compared side by side
    • Limitations noted for each study
  4. Critical synthesis

    • Where the findings agree
    • Where the findings conflict
    • The gap that is left open

Each stage has its own difficulty. A search that is too broad returns thousands of results, and one that is too narrow misses the studies your instructor expects to see. Finding relevant peer-reviewed research is only the start: you also have to tell the key works of the field from the secondary ones and judge each study by its method and its limitations, not only by its conclusion.

The hardest part comes at the end. Studies on the same question often disagree, and a good review explains why, for example by comparing their designs, samples or dates. The thematic structure grows out of those comparisons, and so does the research gap. A gap that the studies you reviewed don’t support is only a claim.

Where the Review Fits: From a Course Paper to a Dissertation Chapter

A literature review can be an assignment of its own or one part of a longer project. The context decides how deep the analysis has to go:

Where the review fits
  • College and university courses

    Standalone assignment

A complete paper on one question, with an introduction, thematic sections and a conclusion. It covers the main studies and their key disagreements.

  • Undergraduate and graduate papers

    Research paper section

A few pages that set up the paper’s own question. It covers only the studies the argument needs and ends on the gap the paper addresses.

  • Graduate programs

    Master’s thesis chapter

A full chapter that justifies the research question and the method. It evaluates how studies were done as well as what they found.

  • Doctoral programs

    PhD dissertation chapter

The longest and most demanding review. It covers the debates of the field in depth and shows where the dissertation’s own contribution lies.

Tell your writer which of the four your review is, and attach the brief for the larger project if there is one. When the review opens a paper you also need written, our research paper writing service covers the whole paper, so the review and the argument after it are planned together.

Can I Pay Someone to Write My Literature Review?

Yes, a writer can take the whole review or only the stage you are stuck on. Choose Writing in the order form, pick Literature Review as the type of paper and describe your assignment. After payment, we match your order with a qualified writer. You can then message your literature review writer in your account and send anything you forgot.

Your writer goes through the same four stages: a search built from your research question, a selection of the scholarly sources that answer it, a comparison of their methods and limitations, and a synthesis by theme that leads to the evidence gap. Behind a request to “write my literature review for me” there is often one stage that has stalled, so say in your instructions which one it is.

Every writer at Writers Per Hour goes through three checks: a review of their degree and field of study, a timed writing test and an editor’s review of their first orders. Best Available is included in the price. For a review in a specialized field, such as nursing research or economics, choose a Subject-Matter Expert or a Top 10 Writer on the writer step for an extra charge.

Choose your academic level as well. The form runs from undergraduate years to Graduate, the level for a Master’s degree, and Ph.D. A Master’s student can order the review chapter on its own, and our thesis writing service covers the other chapters when you need more than the review.

What to Send Your Writer

A writer can follow only the instructions you share, and a literature review depends on them more than most papers do. Send everything that sets its scope:

What to send your writer

  • Your topic or research question, as your instructor approved it
  • The rubric or your program’s guidelines
  • The sources you must include, as PDFs where you can
  • Your draft or outline, if you have one
  • The length, the date range for sources and the citation style

Attach the articles your university library gives you access to. A writer may not be able to open every paywalled journal, and the PDFs make sure the review uses the versions you were assigned. If your supervisor has commented on an earlier draft, attach the comments too. Free revisions are judged against the instructions you gave when you ordered, so put the important ones in the order itself.

The reviews this page describes are narrative and thematic ones. A systematic review or a meta-analysis is a different kind of study: it follows a fixed search protocol, and a meta-analysis also pools the results statistically. If your program asks for one, contact our support team before you order to check whether a writer can take it.

How Long a Literature Review Takes, and What It Costs

Literature reviews can be ordered from 8 hours. That suits a short review on a narrow question with the sources attached, and a short deadline also needs a writer who is free to take it. A longer review needs days rather than hours, because the reading has to happen before the writing.

A dissertation literature review needs the most time of all. If it is one chapter of a longer project, our dissertation writing service shows how a whole dissertation can be ordered in stages, so the review can come first and the later chapters can build on it.

For a long review, you can also check the thematic structure before the final version. With a deadline of 48 hours or more, choose Early Draft under Timing options on the Deadline step, and a draft is due halfway to your deadline.

The price is set per page by three choices in the form: your academic level, your deadline and your writer category. The price strip near the top of this page shows the current starting rate, and the same review costs less per page with a longer deadline. In the form, a double-spaced page is about 250 words.

Before you buy a literature review online, look at what the price includes. A reference list comes with every Writing order, and one originality report from a tool of our choice is free. Extras such as Extended Revision are added only if you choose them, and the Summary step shows the full price before you pay.

Check the Review Before You Rely on It

You get an email when the review is ready, and the file waits in your account. Read it next to your rubric and ask four questions:

  • Is it organized by theme, with a synthesis in each section rather than a summary of each source?
  • Does every source exist, and is it cited correctly in your style?
  • Are the key studies of your field there, and are the sources recent enough for your rubric?
  • Does the evidence gap follow from the studies the review discusses?

If the review misses your original instructions, request a revision in your account. It’s free within 30 days of delivery, or within 60 days with Extended Revision. New or changed instructions aren’t a revision, so they need a new order or extra pages.

Use the review as a model and a map of the sources, as the Writers Per Hour acceptable use policy describes. Read the studies it cites, build your own review from them and cite any passage you borrow. No service can honestly promise you a grade or your supervisor’s approval.
